Field Trip to the Farm
Bring your students for a self-guided, fun-filled day at The Log Farm! Our seasonal programs are designed for Pre-K to Grade 1, combining hands-on learning, exploration, and outdoor play.
Dates: Thursdays and Fridays, May 22 – October 30th
Recommended Visit: 2.5 hours
What Students Will Experience
- Explore the historical barnyard and meet our friendly animals
- Visit the Kids Barn, featuring a weekly rotating theme with sensory tables and seasonal activities
- Take a stroll through the Enchanted Forest, where whimsical statues tell short fairytales
- In September and October, enjoy wagon rides, the corn maze, and pumpkin patch
- Tour the pioneer farmhouse and step back to life in the 1860s
- Each student receives a cone of animal feed (please do not feed the animals anything else)
Group Rates
- Minimum: 20 children
- $10 + HST per child
- Teachers and adult helpers are free (up to a 5:1 ratio)
- Additional adults or siblings: $10 each
Planning Your Visit
- Dress for the weather and plan to spend a few hours exploring
- Bring a snack or lunch to enjoy in our picnic area

Payment & Booking
To book your group, please download and fill out the form at the bottom of this page and email the completed form to marissa@thelogfarm.com
Invoice will be prepared and provided for you on the day of your visit. Payment can be made by debt or credit at the farm. Cheques can be mailed to the farm. Payment due in 14 days
