FIELD TRIP TO THE FARM
Offering a self guided fun filled time at the farm for seasonal exploring, learning and enjoyment for school groups: Pre-K – grade 1
Thursdays and Fridays: May 22nd – October 31st
- Visit the historical barn yard, with lots of friendly animals.
- In the KIDS BARN, each week we have a different theme with activities and sensory tables relating to the season and theme of the week.
- Take walk in the woods, through the enchanted forest – statues with short fairytales along the way.
- In September and October, the wagon rides, corn maze and pumpkin patch open.
- The pioneer farmhouse will be open for guided tours, where you will step back in time and see what family life would have been like in the 1860’s
- everyone in your group will receive a cone of animal feed. Please be sure not to feed the animals anything other then food provided.
GROUP RATE
- Minimum 20 children
- $10 +hst per child
- Teachers and adult helpers are free of charge up to a 5:1 ratio.
- Additional adults or siblings $10 each.
- School groups are being offered every Thursday and Friday from May 22nd – October 31st
- 2.5 hour visit recomended
- The farm is conveniently located in the city at 670 Cedarview rd.
Make sure to dress for the weather and plan to be here for a few hours.
Bring a Snack or your Lunch to enjoy in our Picnic Area
