Here’s What’s Happening

We’re currently working on a plan as to how and when our reopening of the farm area will happen. We want to make sure all protocols are followed to make sure we get this right, so please stay tuned…

But for now, and right through October, you can stop by every Saturday for our Farmers’ Market. The market runs from 9am-2pm and is located right beside the main parking lot. We are so pleased with the growth of our market family this year with an average of over 30 vendors each week there is something for all. As always there is no admission to shop the market and parking is free. For more information on our vendors please follow this link https://barrhavenfarmersmarket.com/vendors/

Farmers’ Market opens Saturday

As a family we are very excited about the 2021 season. We started the farmers’ market as part of our plan to demonstrate to people where their food comes from.

The Log Farm is not only a fun place to visit but an actual operating farm. Over the past couple of years our market has grown steadily and last year was especially encouraging as more and more people recognized how important and rewarding it is to support and buy local.

We are thrilled that we will have more than 30 of the best vendors every week this year. Mostly all of last year’s vendors are back along with lots of new ones.

You can check out the complete list of vendors on the markets website http://www.barrhavenfarmersmarket.com.

Looking forward to seeing you this season. There is no admission to the market and lots of free parking. Every Saturay 9 -2.

We will of course be opening with all the necessary COVID-19 protocols in place.

It’s Finally Ready!

I know it’s been a very popular question lately and the answer is now YES! Our 2021 Maple Syrup is ready for sale. We’ve been hard at work making syrup for a few weeks now and the biggest holdup was getting bottles, but they came in and now are filled with fresh 2021 syrup. The gift shop is open this Friday April 2nd- Monday April 5th from 9:00am – 4:00pm. No tickets or reservations required to shop and always lots of free parking.

For those of you inquiring about deliveries, please stay tuned after Eater weekend for details and our schedule. Hope you all have a safe and Happy Easter!

Easter weekend Activities:
Easter egg hunt in the forest

Kids play area

How the Easter egg hunt works. Colourful plastic eggs will be scattered down the walking trail through the forest. Participants are encouraged to bring their own basket to use as they collect eggs along the trail. Please remember that it is not a race and it doesn’t matter how many eggs you collect, the eggs that you have gathered are then turned in and exchanged for an Easter treat. Once you have collected your eggs and received your treat we ask that you clear the area in order to make room for more guests to hunt for eggs.

An Update from our Family

As a family we have decided that we unfortunately will not be able to offer our sugarbush program for 2021.

We know this is disappointing to all including ourselves. After exploring many different options we just don’t feel with current conditions that’s it’s logistically possible to offer a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests and our staff. Our family will be continuing to produce maple syrup, which will be offered for sale as soon as the weather allows.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the farm for an Easter celebration starting March 27th. More details to follow shortly.
