Its Mid October and the forecast for tomorrow looks beautiful. This years toddler time almost over. We only have two left, October 18th and 25th. The fall leaves are changing and its beautiful to be outside enjoying before the snow fly’s. As always there is lots for the little ones to do so come on out and visit. This program runs 10am-12pm and is only $5 per person and infants under 1 are free.
It’s going to be another damp day in the capital. We’re open 9am-4pm today. Take a wagon ride, try the corn maze, check out our historical buildings, visit the farm animals and maybe enjoy a nature walk. Don’t forget we also have pumpkins and other fall decor for sale too. Hopefully the weather stays light and it won’t be that bad of a day.
As the season winds to a close we only have only three farmers market Saturdays left before the end of the season. The farmers market runs Saturday 9 AM till 2 PM. There is plenty of free parking and up to 25 local vendors with items available. Although we’re well into October there is still plenty of fresh produce every week and lots of other options for your taking. Stop by and check us out and fill out a ballot for a gift basket that we will be drawing on 28 October.
Wednesday is still Toddler Time. 10am-12pm. Lots of fun activities for the little ones. Even our corn maze is geared for the younger crowd. Sensory tables, play doh fun area, farm animals to visit and much more. Just $5 per person and infants under 1 are free. Don’t forget we also have pumpkins and fall decor for sale too!

Hard to believe we are this far into the fall. The Farm will be in full swing this weekend with lots to do. The Farm site is open Saturday, Sunday and Monday 9am-4pm. The admission to the farm is just $5 per person and children under 1 are free. At the farm there is a wagon ride, corn maze, farm animals to visit and all of the historic buildings from the 1850’s to tour. At the main entrance we also have pumpkins, straw bales and corn stalk bundles for sale for all you decorating and holiday needs.

We think it’s a beautiful spot to spend some time maybe have a picnic or go for a nature walk and check out our natural duck pond that has many Canadian geese landing in for the fall.
