Summer At The Farm

Open Weekends 9am-4pm

Summer hay days are here! Summer on the farm is all about making hay. We make hay now to feed the animals all winter. We would love to pack them all up when the snow starts and head south, but here we are in Canada preparing for winter in July.

Come on out to the farm this Summer.

Visiting the farm during the summer: You can see all the animals, we have Sheep, Cows, Rabbits, Goats, Horses, a Donkey, Alpacas, Pigs, Chickens, Ducks and Geese. Our friendly barn cats are usually a favorite among the guests, at the moment they have some little kittens up in the hay loft that will start coming out soon. The spring babies have grown just enough by now that they are jumping around and even starting to eat from your hands. Our little calf Koopa is pretty funny to watch, if you catch him at the right time he likes to put on a little show, running and kicking. Make sure to step back in time by visiting the pioneer farm house, its a little piece of preserved history, taking you back to a simpler time.

Let the kids play in the kids barn at the famous corn sensory table. The dramatic play stations are always fun, they love to sell fruit and vegetables at market stand and fix the tractor at the mechanic table. there are hay bales to climb and lots of fun things to play with in the picnic and play field.

Birthday Parties are welcome, we don’t have a party package, we keep it simple, just bring your party here to celebrate. you can bring in food and gifts. We just ask that you don’t bring decorations, balloons can be hazardous to the animals.

May 25th – October 27th

Every Wednesday & Thursday Morning. 9am-12:30pm at the farm. A drop in program designed exclusively for ages 0-6 (all ages welcome).

Each week we will have a different theme with activities and sensory tables relating to the season and theme of the week. During Toddler Time you will get to see all the farm animals and purchase food for the goats, sheep and alpacas. You can take a walk out in the woods and then gather together for our weekly story time. Bring a picnic lunch or snacks and spend some time playing on the hay.

The Toddler Time program at the farm is a pay as you go program. You can purchase tickets online or at the door. Tickets are required for everyone over the age of one.

There is no need to commit to a long program, just come when you want. So much outdoor fun that changes every week with new themes and toys.

This is not a structured program, we encourage you to let your little one take the lead and let them decide how they want to spend their time at the farm. Slow down and let them explore the farm at their own pace.
