Our regular season kicks off May 11th 2019.
The farm will be open every weekend from May 11th to October 27th.
The first Saturday May 11th we will be having our sheep shearing demonstrations from 10am-2pm. Along with our first Farmers Market of 2019
Shearing a sheep is when we cut and remove the wool from a sheep. Sheep need to be sheared because they do not shed their wool. Most breeds of sheep are sheared only once a year. Shearing does not hurt the sheep. It is just like getting a haircut. Shearing the sheep keeps them cooler in hot weather.
Mark your calendars for this once a year event, there will be a general discussion of sheep, wool, and sheep handling. Please drop by to enjoy the show and ask questions.
