☀️The Log Farm will be CLOSED this SUNDAY June 24th. We will be at FRANKS on greenbank (283) with our gang of goats to help support Franks fundraiser for Tourette syndrome.
They will be holding their 8th Annual Tourette Syndrome (TS) Awareness Fundraiser for the Ottawa Chapter of the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada, on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 10:00 – 3:00pm.
TS is a unique neurological disorder affecting as many as one in 100 Canadian children. It currently has no cure.
Unlike pledge-driven walks or runs typically organized by charities, Frank’s Catering and Baked Goods will see over 1500 supporters come out to enjoy Frank’s world famous sandwiches and his unbelievably delicious baked goods while donating to a great cause.
In addition to what will be another highly anticipated event, they have started this Go Fund Me Campaign for anyone looking to donate but unable to attend the event in person.
For close to 30 years the Ottawa Chapter has battled against widespread myths, misconceptions and ignorance surrounding TS through a myriad of support programs and public awareness campaigns. Many children who have Tourette Syndrome are also affected by associative conditions including obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, sleeping disorders, to name a few.
